If he had it for a long time, give twice what was paid originally. Everyone will be happy. It would get several hundred at auction if in excellent condition. It is about 50 years old. It all depends on how generous you want to be.

I am trying to get hem to get a pic. of it so you can see it. i personally have not seen it . All i know so far is some guy died and now he wants it. But no one knows what it is worth. If the guy died thin no one will ever know what was paid for it.
