Who makes the engine on the Troy Built 4016 chain saw? We have them localy at a good price considering shipping and custom charges.
Engine has starter on ccw rotation side,saw on the other end.

The photo of the saw shows a three bolt muffler attachment and case design which are distintly Poulan. My 40cc Sears 40cc has the same muffler attachment pattern. Homelites use tha three bolt attachment, but you would see nuts attaching the muffler instead of bolt heads. The big question is how is the coil and carb attached. My 40cc has the coil mounted on the cylinder, but many 33cc to 42cc have the coil attached to the saw body. All of the Poulans in this range that I have seen have the carb attached with a rubber coupling. Below is the site with the saw TB4016. Good luck.
