Does anyone have a plane flying that can 3d with a larger conversion yet?? I am looking for a weight target to hit. I want to get a good airframe that matches up with a 45cc homey. Was wondering if anyone has found a good combination yet. I am staring with a 15 lb plane to see how much weight I need to shave to get good performance.
Thinking about a profile type plane that may be lighter but I am not sure what is available out there.

I just ordered one of these two days ago. Lots of wing area, light weight, it should fill the need nicely. I'll be installing a Homey 45 or Poulan 46.

Well I will report on weights that I found today.
I have a scratch built foam/door skin/corplast plane that weighed in at exactly 15 pounds on my kitchen scale.
The 45cc homey has plenty of power to pull out of a hover. I guess it hovers at 3/4 throttle. I am using a 20 X 8 WIDE APC prop. I dont really like it because it spools up slower than a wood prop.
For me I would not hesitate to throw this motor on any 15 lb plane for full on 3d perfomance.
