I was recently giving a Poulan 2300 chainsaw. I just would like to know what cc's it is. Has anyone converted one? How good of a engine this make? What type of airplanes are you putting it on?

If you have trouble getting the link to work, try removing the question mark and everything after it.

Is the cage needle bad or good?

Good for a saw... but not so good for a conversion. Since we want thrust... we need bearings that can hold a thrust load. Ball bearings would be better.

HEY: Thanks guys. I am going to need new bearings. The rest of the engine is fine. Its off to the Echo dealer or find a place that sells them. Do you guys have any ideas on that. best Regards Capt,n[:-]
