Default How to or help a dummy

I am just getting back into the hobby after a 15 year break. Can you guys help me out in regard to getting the gas / weed wacker type engines going on in 1/4 to 1/3 scale type ww1 or ww2 fighter. I have no clue in how to go about getting the job done and have read several posts on the best gasser for a 1/4 scale ww1 type job, but am lost. Sounds stupid, but sure could use a step by step. OK - where to order. what for a 20 -25 lb. range, who to do the conversion if necessary , or how to go about doing it yourself? I am a pretty decent builder & have done quite a few scale - scratch / plan type builds in 1/4 scale in the past, but always leaned to the large glow engines.. This engine deal sounds pretty cool, especially the larger briggs / honda type motors.

wefxn3,

You might want to take a look at the [link=http://brillelli.com/brillelli_engines.htm]Brillelli[/link] line of engines. Scott has a 366GT 60cc that just might fit the ticket. The Zenoah G-62 is always a favorite also.
