Check out the gallery at usrainfo.org...We had a Golden Age class in our USRA racing series a few years ago...Drill out the inlet needle hole in the carb to .083..
Double the area of the other fuel passages ...
Use a 19-18 carbon prop....
Use 6% oil in the fuel....
Make the piston to cylinder squish clearance about .020...
Intake duration 140 degrees...
About 20% nitro....
We race GR7s, Kellys, Polecats, and a few others...A GT80 set up this way with short exhaust stacks is good for at least 175 mph, the best are almost at 190, never tried a 3W....
