Default Ryobi 4 cycle RF interferrence

Hello everybody,
I haven't flown my 26cc Ryobi 4C yet. Too many engines, too little time. I would like to know if any Ryobi four cycle flyers have had any issues with radio interferrence. Reports of problem free use are great also. The engine uses a special 10mm threaded spark plug and I don't know if it is a resister plug or not. I don't think any other plug will fit this engine. Well, now it's your turn to help the rest of us out.

Thanks, Dave

There's a special resistor, shielded, spark plug cap/connector that you can use if you encounter a problem.

If you have a ohm meter you can check it by testing from the top to the center electrode. non resistor will show dead short, resistor plug will show resistance.

If there's an "r" in the number it's a resistor... Look at www.sparkplugs.com
Champion RZ7C
NGK CMR 6 and/or 7
There's a Denso plug also, the porcelain is longer...

Hello,
I measured a brand new plug and got 7 meg ohms on the nano semans scale. Most meters won't go that high. I guess that should be enough resistance. A regular meter showed an open cirruit.
