Default homelite 33 question?

Just got my homelite 33 running on the bench. New engine, stock muffler and ignition. Sounds great, getting about 7800 rpm with a MA 18/6. (brought it back down to about 74-7500 for break in). I've run about a tank of fuel through it. I can hear a minute amount of slop in the rod bearings when I jiggle the prop by hand. Doesn't matter if the engine's hot or cold. I don't hear any rattling when the engine is running, but this slop wasn't there before I ran it. Is this normal for these engines?

This is normal. The slop is really not as much as you think by feeling of the prop.

You will find that the engine will gain a couple hundred rpm after you run it for and hour.

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't damaged it.
