Default Ryobi Gaskets?

Do most people use gaskets when re-assy a ryobi or do they just go with a sealant type gasket?

I understand the timing and compression change issues involved, I was just wondering what people use if they don't use an original gasket.

Can anyone recommend a good sealant type gasket compond (forma gasket etc)...

Thanks..
Mick.

Default RE: Ryobi Gaskets?

Yamabond case sealer from the motorcycle dealer. There's a similar product made by Loctite but I don't remember the number. I use Yamabond on everything from motorcycle cases, Volkswagens, various two stroke engines, etc...
