Default ANY INFO?????

Does anyone have any idea what size or brand this engine is? It came off of a small scooter, you can see the gearbox and chain drive. This is a strong little engine, I know it used to haul me down the road at 28mph. I can not find any markings on this engine at all except the carb there is a marking that is RUI*ING, the astric should be a star. There is a sticker on the gearbox that says 1E36F and under that it is 030128440. The gearbox is removable. Thank you for looking.

Thanks for the info. It is hard to tell but it looks like the 26cc. I was hoping for atleast a 42cc. After a closer look, the covers that where on this engine all look like and attached like the ones on the 33cc Duro engine. But still to small for what I want to do.

1E36F is China parlance for something like single cylinder-2 stroke-36mm bore-air cooled. There are dozens of manufacturers over there building 1E36F's. I have a list with 1E36F-2A, 1E36F-2AD, 1E36F-G1, 1E36F-G2.... I think the suffix will tell you if it is recoil or electric start and whether it has a reduction and what ratio. I think that "36's" are usually 33cc, stroke counts and may vary slightly. The 52's are usually 1E44F's (1E44F-2A etc) and 43's 1E40F's . I think that most of the 33's are clones of a Mitsubishi.
