I see alot of threads that are very good info but, I would like to see pics and videos of some conversions on airplanes doing 3D manuvers!

This subject has been beat to death. Zenoah and BME are or were industrial engines originally. Doesn't matter. In my opinion as well as many others they are only being asked to do in our applications a mere fraction of what they were designed to do. That is run wide open all day long with bad gas, dirty air, and less than acceptable care. They run long and strong in these environments. I have done many conversions. I prefer the Echo engines to convert which by the way are the same engine BME uses for his singles. 44 and 50cc. Brillelli is now using them for his new 50. Sorry no video of mine but my son has a 44 in his H-9 Extra 260 and I have had a 50 in my W/H Extra 300 for 2-1/2 years now.

Yeah, every time this comes up, I think about putting a larger diameter, lower pitch prop on one of my planes and show it hovering. But I just don't care much for 3D myself.

Anyway, my Katana has basically unlimited vertical. My Poulan powered Giant Big Stik, which is no lightweight, will climb vertically immediately after a very short take-off, my 29% scale Extra is slated to get a "converted" Echo engine, etc....
