avator: The engine will be a working model of a Holt model Catapillar engine. Most have been set up for spark ignition but one guy set his up to run glow fuel. I have photos ...but I will have to wait untill I get my photo program working correctly!!!

If you are interested in model engineering have a look at www.modelenginenews.org
From the menu choose "engines" and "gallery", enjoy.
What people build simply amazes me.

camcclellan: I will have to ask someone that has a Holt engine finished for the weight. Most of the weight is in the flywheels. It is a water/coolant type f engine....if run under any load. Free running on short runs they run well on glow. Capt,n

shaun: Thanks for the compliment. Picture the finished look with a exhaust header and a prop hub instead of the heavy flywheels.
EDIT...Remember the yellow engine is a photo off the net...mine needs a lot of work to get there!!!! Capt,n

Hi Captain,
Great looking engine.
Wondered if you could tell me how to get hold of Ralph Cunningham. I understand he does some magic weight reduction process on the G-62. Can't seem to find him though. Any help would be appreciated.
Warmest regards,
TCBenson
