I also have a Top Flite FW-190 Dora D9 kit in my build que and wanted to get yall's opinion on if it can be converted to gas with a conversion engine. I figure I will need to turn a 14x12 at 7500 rpm to get viable power and speed. Or a 16x10 at 7500 rpm. Is there a suitable candidate out there for this that wont be too heavy?

This one will FIT...is very LIGHT...and though it will not spin large propellers, check it out:

BME has tested a high compression version that is turning the APC 13x6 at 13,000 rpm but must be run on 100 plus octane
Do a search here on RCU in the forums for the BME G90...you'll find all kinds of feedback including prop and RPM reports.
Enjoy,
Chad
