I built a 10ft spad and mounted 2 ryobi's on the the wing she flies pretty good.
Have listen to them spooling up here. I think a couple of 4 strokes would even sound better.
What do you think?

G'day guys
boxcar
Your are right these are the sort of things you do when get older but I enjoyed the challenge ,as for flying it flies pretty good for the one flight that it has had, more to come soon.
Luna sea
Thats the nature of corflute its only really doing because it is tethered in the propwash, once in the air things tend to load up and settle down.

You can run them on electronic ignition and run one of them in reverse rotation. Easy to do on a rear induction reed valve setup. Just time it right and flip it backwards. Pusher prop.

I like to keep things simple, there is a another way by doing away with the keyway and turning the fly wheel to the right setting and make it run backwards.
Cheers Adrian.

I did that one time. It did not work out so good. the 1st thing is that you have to lock down the prop hub so it will not spin off. A pusher prop does not seem to work as well. I do not know why but the power is not the same on the pusher. I ran a twin like that for about 8 flights. I swiched it back and did not see much in the way the plane proformed. So in a way It is a lot of work to not get much out of it. But that is just the way i see it.
