hey everyone...I just have a few questions to ask!
me and my friends have been making Motorized Scooters lately. My friend recently made his with a refirbished 25cc engine, and it works great. So I decided to make one myself using his exact same plans. Took about 2 days to finish, and was a fun project. I also purchased an older Craftsman 25cc Weedwacker engine but had never been used. So I installed everything correctly, filled it up and decided to take it for a rip. Now the problem I'm having is that it runs non-stop on full choke, but then when i switch to half or OFF choke, it ends up dieing on me...now on the back of my engine I have an orange knob that I don't know adjusts either the gas or air flow? And then the idle knob..I tried fiddling with both but I can't get it to work! From what i'm getting...when it is on Full choke it seems to run really good..and thats gas only. But I guess no choke means too much air is coming into it???
If anyone can give me some suggestions to help me out, that'd be awesome. I had it running by itself on OFF choke before so it worked, so any help.
Thanks guys!

Your problem could be a dried out diaphram. Take the model # and go to Sears and purchase a carb kit. You can also get the carb # and go to a small engine shop for a kit.

Gee I have been wondering what to do with that 90cc chainsaw engine I just picked up the other day! Yep if it runs on choke and not off choke your not getting fuel somehow.
