Default Thread size ?

What is the very fine thread size on the crankshaft of the 25cc Homelite? I miked it to be .305" od. of the threads.
I want to use them on a drive line.

Not on my Homelite!

3/8 x 24!

Look in the Homelite parts manual on

www.homelite.com

They give you all the drawings and sizes. If you're still unsure go to the hardware store and buy different nuts first.

yeah, many of the long shaft engines use 3/8" instead of the short shaft engines with 5/16"

Good news.

Crankshaft threads are 5/16" X 24.
The clutch shaft that spins onto it has a 3/8" X 24.

Everybody is right ???
