I just saw a 29cc 4 stroke weed trimmer at Sears. On sale for $169. Looks like I may convert one. Has anyone worked with
one of these before? I don't think there will be a problem going inverted as a trimmer should work in any orientation.

Go to the bottom of the engine conversion page and put in [ryobi 4 stroke] in the search bar and see what comes up.I had 2 of the 26cc's 4 strokes but sold them before i did anything with them. You could also put in [ryobi 26cc 4 stroke] and see what comes up.

Go to Low,s and check out all the newer light-weight power equipment. The name of the game is...less weight...more power. That is just what we want!!!! Capt,n

Thanks for the web site Cap't but I don't see the 49cc anymore. May be they are out. Should I go to Lowe's?
I'll bet I can find a coupon for sears somewhere on the net.
