Starting bigger Engines

Since this is a conversion forum...here goes a Idea! The big engines that are hard to flip fast enough to hand start...why not tap another place in the head for a GLOW Plug! Then prime with a little sqirt of glow fuel through carb opening. Attach glow battery and back bounce start it. The engine should REV up good enough for the regular spark ignition(flywheel type or CD type) to keep engine going. Sould work good if done right! Capt,n

I wish I had time to try all the Ideas I come up with. That is why I ask others to try some of them. I hate to admit it...but when I am doing most any thing...thoughts of engine are there!!!! I guess you know there is no hope for me anymore! Best Regards Capt,n

I guess i killed two birds with one stone by going GAS/GLOW right off the bat, much easier to start than a magneto engine and also much lighter.

I was thinking more of the big singles..70cc and up that are hard to hand start. I was kinda wondering what size Gas/Glow engine size you run and how are they working out for you. Thanks Capt,n

I have seen some two handled starters made with an old car engine starter before
