Marine engine to Air

I have a Zenoah 260 PUM marine engine I was thinking of converting to an airplane engine.I've found the crankcase, crank, piston are the same as the G26 air.I 'd have to get a cylinder, prop hub and take off the recoil starter.I can use the leftover parts to build a better modded Zen 260 marine engine later on ,as I already have a crankcase and piston set and will have the jug and recoil off this engine.Figured it would be cheaper than buying a new G26 air.Has anyone done this conversion on a marine to airplane engine?
