Default ECHO 1.3 (FPE-Clone) Conversion

I just finished installing the hub magnet for the ignition-see this forum-So far this is what I have into it-
Echo 21cc brand new short block from flee-bay=$25 shipped
Almost new stock muffler and carb isolator ^^=$15 shipped
CRRC pro 26 ignition and sensor \\
CRRC pro 45 prop hub // all 3 pices = @ $37 US dollars from prc in Canada
Custom machined prop hub adapter to stock crrc pro 45 hub
machine threads for sensor mount
mill down stock isolator and pulse port machined for flipped carb installation so the throttle arm can be like the FPE 1.3 is or the stock location Machined by IDM =$53 parts, labor, shipping
I had a Walbro WA 222 for a Homelite I have=FREEBEE!!
The crrc pro 26 ignition is an advancing unit and the reason i went with the pro 45 hub is that if the outer part gets damaged I can purchase a stock replacement as well as the ignition sensor.Stock weight for the fpe is around 43 oz varies with which site you look at!!!LOL mine weighs 43 oz with the stock muffler ,ignition weighs 4 oz .I do not know if the ignition weight is in the FPE specs.I dont think it was to bad of a price to piece together -total=$130 for an "fpe 1.3" I also just fired it up for the first time, just a drip of gas in the carb fired third flip by hand and idle for 3 seconds-timing set around 30* or so.What are your echo 21cc's doing for rpm, prop, amd timing? for comparision and what timing was the best you stopped at?

Default RE: ECHO 1.3 (FPE-Clone) Conversion

Well,my engine is close but a litle larger. It has the stock zama carb,i just havent changed it yet.Its the 24cc echo.In the pic without the prop but with the rcexcl ign, without battery weighs 47-48 OZS.Set at 28 deg BTDC spins the prop in the pic at 72-7400 rpms.If you havent checked out the thread {dont gorget echo},go check it out.
Ive also enclosed a pic of my 21cc im working on.The one with the chevy orange cylinder.
A 21-22cc should spin a 15x8APC at the same RPMS as my 24cc.

Default RE: ECHO 1.3 (FPE-Clone) Conversion

A relatively stock Echo 21cc should turn a 15 x 8 prop at around 7500. My highly modified Echo 23.6cc turns an APC 16 x 8 at well over 9000...
