Default OSH sale

Morning all,our local OSH stores are having a sale this weekend and they have some pretty good deals.Poulan chain saw 33cc engine, and a Echo weedy with a 25cc engine. The chain saw is 99 bucks, and the weedy is 79 bucks plus there is a 15% coupon!!! Can anyone tell me if these are good conversion engines?I already have the chain saw but it is just to good to tear up for an airplane engine, but at this price I could keep all the non airplane stuff as spares right(to keep wife at bay)?

Any info on either engine would be great.
Thanks Jim.

I believe the Poulan 33cc engines are the same basic block that they use for all the way up to the 42cc. If this is indeed true, it would be a fairly heavy engine for 33cc. Better to wait and find a good deal on a Homelite chainsaw with their 33cc engine.

The Echo 25cc would not only make a good conversion, but that's a great price! (I have numerous 21 to 25cc Echos flying.)

Check this out BladeJunkie: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8228949/tm.htm

The 21 to 26cc Echo engines are nearly identical on the outside....

Hey all,the Echo price was a typo,it was a Craftsman weedy[&o].But the Poulan price was good,I didn't buy either one though.

Thanks for the reply's Jim.
