Default converting ????

Hey guys, I'm looking for some info on converting this Husqvarna 65cc brush cutter engine over to airplane use. I have a 1/3 Super Cub in need of a powerplant and this looks like it will be a good fit after trimming it down. The outside looks bad but it had just been freshened up with a new piston and carb, it runs like a champ.

I did a 61cc husky, that turned out very well. I have it on a QuiQue yak 85". Very strong and easy to operate. The one thing I would warn you about is that the engine is probably made from magnesium. I was grinding mine and saw sparks, didn't register for a few seconds. Fotunately no fire. Good luck, red

Flywheel....whats that,lol?

Convert it to Electronic Ignition! That will save you some REAL weight on that engine, plus give you a way to start it. And we want pics!
