Just picked up a weed blower used but there is no oil mix ratio list. How about an assist?

What oil mix ratio is reccommended for Homelite 25cc?
I C & P'd this reply that I posted on the Q & A forum:
I recommend you try a product called "Opti-2". It is a 2 cycle engine lubricant that produces no smoke from the exhaust, and it can be used in any 2 stroke engine (that requires oil mixed in with the gas) - regardless - yes - REGARDLESS of the mix ratio. From what I understand - it has teflon in it - and it treats the metal to reduce the friction, unlike oil - which just relies on a thin film barrier to reduce friction. I have been using it in my gas 2 strokers - and it is amazing! No smoke, fires right up, and runs like a champ. You can use it in your chainsaw, your weedeater, and your big R/C gasser - regardless of the mix ratio. I got mine from our local Ace Hardware store - and the fellow that owns the store said that if he had his way - Opti-2 would be the only 2 stroke additive he would stock - it's that good! It comes in a small plastic tube in either 1 or 2 gallon sizes. Our CE (Civil Engineering) unit on base has been using it for years on all their 2 strokers - and they "swear" by it!
I am using it in my Ryobi powered SPAD, and my weedeater as well.

Manuf. site data
Per Homelite site:
50:1 ratio This is for a current production model.
Not looking to open the worm can, just looking for a mix ratio that would not foul the plug too bad.
FYI, a formula for those interested.
I have 'A' oz. of premix 32:1 (gas) fuel. How much gas is needed to make it into 50:1 fuel premix?
'A'*(1/(.02/.0325)) = Added Gas Required
Or 'A' quanity x .56 yields the same amount of gas to ADD
What is the appropriate fuel-mix for my unit?
Answer: Mix Homelite Premium Exact Mix oil with unleaded gasoline. When using the 2.6-ounce Exact Mix oil, thoroughly mix the entire contents with 1 gallon (4 liters) of fresh, unleaded gasoline.

I also use the Opti-2 and I love it!! I mix 1- 5 gal can and use it in everything from my Airplanes to the lawn equipment. I have used it on my Airplane gassers right from the start for breaking in & everything!! Hard to believe you can do that with a 100:1 mix but its worked great for me. I buy a case of the 1 gal pillow packs at a time (yes I do more flying than yard work!!). 100:1 mix is 1.3oz to a gal & the packs come with 1.8oz so if you squeeze it all in and dont waste any you end up with about 75 or 80:1 but it works just as good either way. Check out the Opti link above - if its the one I think it is, its very interesting!!
