If your a fan of things that convert gasoline in to noise, scale or otherwise, take a look at www.engine-museum.com

Hey Terry,
Are you in to miniature engine building? I know by now that Capt'n john is.
I thought I would have time to finish my self-designed radial when retired, but alas! It,s there in the rough, but a long ways from running or even popping.

I didn't see anything Ardun about them but they sure run good
The exhaust comes out the top of the Vee instead of going back down through the block like on a real 8BA type flathead.

Referring to a Ardun would mean Hemi conversion OHV heads on a flat head ford. The model engine in the video is a flat head valves in crankcase design. They simplified the task by running the exhaust out the valley (center top) area.
Here's another vid of the engine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmNiZ...eature=related
A 8BA is a 1949 through 1953 ford flathead V-8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYH1TgYhx84

Here's a Jerry Conley V8 that someone put together.
Jerry owns Perry pump/carbs and always has some of these at Toledo every year
His usually is more detailed than this example with a OS airbleed carb and cruel power fuel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Is9h...L&index=21

This one is the Challanger engine, While it is not a scale model of a production engine, It is very much like the 1936 Caddy flathead V-8 which has the in the exhausts in the V.

make it a link with the ] brackets around it and people should be able to click on it, stick the brackets around url=website] title for link[/url and that's as complicated as making an embedded link is on here. Posting pictures is as complicated as putting img with the brackets around it then the address then /img with the brackets around it
I'd type it out the way it needs to look like, but I don't know how to turn off the code on here...

I found it

First Flight of a Bentley BR2 Rotary Engine

The problem was that there were two underlines in that first url
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSYp1jFz6_E
An excellent video. Been to that field many times and know pilot Mac Hodges very well. He is the guy with the ball cap, brown jacket, kaki pants and white shoes. He's the guy with the B-29
That engine certainly is nice running.
