In my boatload of fun I have three sizes of Briggs/Craftsman 4-strokes. 30, 34, 40cc. For lack of something better to do this afternoon I grabbed the saddest of the 30cc and removed all unnecessary bits. It looks like it would fit in my BUSA 1/4 scale D-7. I am looking for Zenoah G-26 power. The weight is not an issue. I know the Briggs are not respected here. Assuming I got one running could I expect a 20x6 or maybe larger to spin up to worthwhile RPSs?
Oh, BTH This engine apparently sat in the rain resulting in corrosion the insided of the jug. Too bad I think it was new. Who would leave something like this out in the rain..... gads. I have a better one to fiddle with. It pared down nicely and if I can expect any kind of usefull power I'll do the other one.
The 34 and 40s look big. They may not be of any use for this project. They do interest me tough, maybe later.

If you haven't found it already read this: B&S 40cc, 4-stroke recipe for success. It seems that the weight limit for a model to use this engine is around 18-20lbs.
