Hi all... I am trying to get a friends plane going but we have run into a snag with the ignition and lack of spark. I have traced the problem down to the wires have come loose that connect to the magnetic pick-up sensor on the crankshaft. I am however not able to id the mfg of the ignition system to be able to replace the component. I cannot resolder it as the small prongs have broken off at the base of the sensor. The sensor was basically siliconed in the housing that backs up the prop drive hub that holds the triggering magnet.
The ignition also has a mechanical advance and there apperas to be no mfg id anywhere that I can see. Any ideas of where I can go to get parts or info would be helpful. The engine (I am told) is a Stihl 69cc conversion.
Thanks for any help
Sam

Found the info I need thanks to the good folks at C&H ignitions and have the parts needed on the way. It turned out to be a Ralph Cunningham conversion and hope to have it up and running soon.
Thanks

I was going to suggest C/H. They are great. A new ignition will replace the mechanical advance.
