Default Tanaka 43cc Conversion

I got lucky and got a brand new Tanaka 43cc Backpack Blower engine!!! for $30!!!! Well anyways it looks like it has to have a bit of cutting to do on the housing,I do not have it yet.So we'll see what I can do with it.I think it should run a 20" prop?

Default RE: Tanaka 43cc Conversion

I use a four and a half inch angle grinder to trim my conversion engines. Works great. Harbour freight has their grinder on sale, I think for $9.99. Sure beats a hack saw or Dremel!
