Here is a husqvarna chainsaw I converted. Gutted the muffler and brazed a pipe. It swings a APC 18 x 8 W at 7500.The engine weighs 3 pounds 12 ounces, ready to go.

That Husky will probably outlast most all them china made engines. Good job!

Ken, the weather has been for the most part has been bad here in Michigan. Have not flown once yet this year. Got so may things to repair right now it is crazy bad. I would list them, but hate typing. Hey I could call.....PM me your phone number. Thanks John

Finally flew the plane with this engine on it, the rpms got better it runs at 7900 with the same prop. The plane weighs 15 lb. The power is excellent, not unlimited vertical but more than enough for sport flying. Here is a video my brother shot of the first flight.
