RE: 1963 carb
I have a HDA-45A on my 61cc husky chain saw conversion. The only problem is if your going to use it as a saw the throttle linkage might not be the same. You could also use the carb off of a G62.When you look in the intake youll see a stamped number.Mine has a number 42 wich is the venturi size in 64ths of an inch. Are you gonna use it as a saw or RC engine. If a saw i could give ya a few saw shops to check out that i purchase from, send me a pm if needed.

Hey Buck
I have the same Carb. on my Echo 62cc twin. Ralph at rcignitions said it was a little small for it. But I find it runs great and transistion is just super. I originaly bought it for a 46cc engine I'm building. |

The original carb thats still on my 61 twin says HDA-7A,then theres a B5 underneath that.In the intake it says 42S.I have another carb that has an S behind the number>Do ya know what it stands for by chance.Heres a pic of my 61 so far.Mufflers are off a BME100?104?dont remember, bought them off ebay for $29.00 shipped, new, nobody bid on them.So i figured i would.Mounts from a Quadra 42?.

RE: 1963 carb
I have a similar carb on my Rowena. Tillotson gasket kits are freely available, you just need the number e.g. HS HDA as above. I got mine from ebay.
