Default need help

Hello a friend of mine gave me an esky twister 6 channel(see pic) couple of days ago. I decided yesterday to check if it works coz it was in his basement like 2 years... thereciever didnt work so i bought a GWS R8MSL+. I connected the servos and they were working fine but when i connected the motors both were accelerating to full and i couldnt control them from the transmiter. I noticed that servos have 3 cables on each plug(brown orange red) and motors have 2(red and black) so i guess thats why i can't control them from the transmiter. Also the old reciever had 2 special plugs for the motors, probably thats why i can't control them from the normal plugs that servos also fit in... so any ideas how to fix this?

First is the RX you put in a 4in1 type as the twister is just a Honey Bee CP.
The 4in1 has the Gyro, Tail Motor control and ESC in it along with being the RX.
I would think that most of the parts for a Honey Bee CP would work.

THe problem with not having a 4 in 1 in that heli is WEIGHT.
Iwould highly reccommend getting a 4 in 1 for it that matches your TX
Adding a gyro is not all you would have to do.
Is it a 2 in 1 or a 3 ijn 1, or a standard RX?

TO conver to a standard RX you would need 2 ESC's one for the Main motor and one for the tail rotor, and a gyro, much cheaper and easier to get teh correct RX for the heli.
It is niot just a matter of replacing the 4 in 1 with the items they all have to be set up to work together, and the tail motor control is a real hassle.
Get teh 4 in 1 for teh Honey Bee CP it should work fine. Ido belive you could also use the E-Flite Blade CP, but I am not sure about that.
The new RXwill not come with a crystal, you will use the one in teh old RX that came with the heli. That way you have a matched set.

Here is the wab site for modelengins, thay are the reseller of the twister heli.
It appears they are based in Australia.
You might want to contact them for further clairification on teh RX. They also might have the OEM part.

If the model is a Honey Bee variant, there are a lot of parts that are universal to the entire Honey Bee series. Some of the parts are in common with EFlite and HeliMax copters. So anyway, you may be able to find a 4 in 1 locally.

The picture that you posted of teh 4 in 1 is fuzzy, but there should be an Esky part number on it. As I could still read Esky, so Esky Honey Bee FPparts will work.
