Default New Canopy & Stability

Hey all,

I haven't been on for a while, but wanted to update ya' all.

The HB King II is flying great....I almost never crash and can hover this baby in my garage with confidence.
I still consider this my learning chopper so I haven't upgraded too much.
Still flting with the stock Gyro w/o too many probs, although I do have to "fly the tail" a little and re-trim twice during flight..No big deal.
I did upgrade to the 3100 KV motor and 25A ESC..as everyone already knws the stock motor is crap! LOL
Also an using TREX 450 tail blades, MUCH better tail authority..and fiberglass 288mm mains.

I recently installed the TREX 450 Canopy...Flys MUCH more stable due to added weight.
Here's a pic.

Thats sweet! Just got two HB King II's in this morning and with very little setup I was flying in no time. I am very new to heli's.

Bilsue2005,

You'll love the HB King II.
It's my 1st collective pitch chopper..crashed several times in my learning phase, but all is good now.

The only real advice I can gice you on the King is to check EVERYTHING after each flight. Especially the belt tension.
It is built to a price point, so "things" do come loose. LOL

Pete
