I am a new Belt owner and have read the articles on using locktite. I understand that the blue product is good for metal to metal parts but it doesn't work with metal to plastic. I have the plastic version of the bird and the only metal parts I can find to locktite are the setscrews on the flybar paddles and shaft.
What else should I locktite? Or is there another product I should use?

No, on the stock beltCP, about the only place you can use locktite is on the head and the screws that mount the motor to the platform. Use blue. never red locktite.
IN plastic, nothing is needed.

Locktite is very aggressive towards certain plastics so its not only a matter of not needing it but you want to make sure not to use it.
A small drop of medium ca if you are screwing into plastic and you have having a problem with the screw backing out will make it stay put and be fairly easy to remove later. Notice I said SMALL DROP.
