Default Difference HB King & King2

Hello all, New to this group and now I have a HB King coming from an estate sale. As I'm looking around for parts I'm sure I'll need I have some questions about the differences and availability of parts. I would appreciate it if someone can tell me the difference between the King and the King 2, and good sources for parts. Many thanks in advance and Happpy Holidays wishes to all, Doc

Default RE: Difference HB King & King2

I believe King V1 used a shaft drive for the rear rotor. The new King 2 uses a belt drive system. Looking at the parts for King 1, I think the top frame may be a little different and the bottom battery holder section with the landing gear is also different.
