So after 6 or so great flights, my gyro is blinking at me
I turned on TX, plugged in battery to fire up RX...the gyro does the very fast blinking "flutter" for about 5 seconds, and then switches to a constantly blinking on/off/on/off. When it does this, I have no rudder control.
All the wire connections look fine...and I'm not sure what could have caused this.
What should I check?

I had the exact same problem over the weekend. Don't know what caused it, but like you, I unplugged all of the gyro/servo connections, and battery of course. When I reconnected everything worked fine. I searched everywhere for information on the slow blinking light and found nothing.

ugh, that's the worst kind of problem - when it goes away and you don't know what the problem and/or solution was! :-)
whelp, I'm tinkering for now...anyone else with any input is greatly appreciated!

This problem happens to me when I turn on the helicopter and the rudder trim is not in the middle.
Switch it of, center the rudder trim and try again....

That's EXACTLY what it was...during flight I had to adjust the trim on the TX pretty far. I centered it, and the problem disappeared. Thanks!
