Hay guys I just wanted to let you all know that the Phoenix simulator program now has a HBK2 that you can down load and add to your program. It comes in both the yellow & white canopy and has three different settings, standard, sport and 3D. This simulater is way cool and has a lot of other stuff you can fly also. I have had it for a while now and like it alot and now even more seeing it has the HBK2. If you have this program you should check out the new down loads they have seeing that they are free. Jeff

I also have the phoenix sim that I use with my dx6. The cx2 works great but any other types just jump straight up after getting to about 1/2 throttle and keep going. Is there something I need to set up differently or should I try downloading again? I'm using the 104i version.
I'm sorry and I know this should be in the sim section but I was trying to fly the HB and just tagged this post.

Well I use a Futaba 7CHP and I use one of the models for the sim, but I use none of the computer stuff in the radio as it only seemed to mess things up. If I remember right I needed to change some settings in the program when I started to use the 7CHP radio to get it to work properly. Did you go through the calabration setup? If I remember I needed to link the cyclic to the throttel channel in the controller setup, but it worked just fine on the other Futaba radio I was using before. There is also an update to version 1.05, but it is a beta version and I only needed it to be able to fly one of the other new helis that was listed for down load.

Thank you for the reply. I did calibrate the radio when flying airplanes and all was well. I don't have any problems with the fixed wing or the cx2 but all other heli's just launch like a rocket. If I go slow and back off as soon as it lifts off it will just crash to the ground as fast as it went up. I also have a jr 400s tx that does the same. As far as the 105 version I'm not one to try any beta stuff and I don't see enough of a change that would benefit me unless it cleared up this problem.
