Default main blade question

I have the (regular)BELT-CP with wood blades and thinking about changing/upgrading to carbon fiber blades (recommendation),,,,the manual shows the CF blades for it. Will it fit 'as-is' (plastic grips) or do I have to upgrade the grips (to cnc), too.?
thanks

They will work just like it is. The stock blade grips are fine. The only thing is that the cf blades require more pitch to fly so your stick will be at a higher position when hovering. They have a cleaner air foil and are stiffer than the wood blades which is a good thing. Just takes a little getting used too. Have Fun Gittle

thanks...i was scanning the other post and saw the TREX blade topic. I may go that route, also. I posted the question of what type (material) of 'spacer/washers' should be used. should they be specific for this purpose (bought at LHS) or can regular (round metal) 'washers' be used? KennyT used a 'credit' type card and shaped it. I'm wondering if it has to be glued to the blade?
thanks again,

It really does not matter as long as you take up the space and keep them equal in size. The best blades that I have found have been the 288mm FRP blades from Helidirect for $11.99 part #edn-1042. Great blades for the price. Very durable and almost like carbon fiber for the same price as wood.
