I've been checking for some myself, other then new Tx's, motor and battery swaps there doesn't seem to be too much we can do with the HBFP. But where there's a will theres a way. I wanna find the absolute biggest motor that will fit on this

There are actually quite a few mods for the HBFP. I've been flying the stock HBFP and different variations of this heli for 14 months. Below are a couple of videos of my modded HBFPs.
Video #1 - http://youtube.com/watch?v=4WJ-mO2IXNY
Setup:
- Slo-Max 300 Main Motor w/10T Pinion
- GWS DD Tail Motor (CN12-RXC)
- GWS Tail Rotor Housing and Vertical Fin
- GWS Tail Rotor Adapter w/4530 Prop
- Super Skids
- Spektrum AR6100 Rx
- E-flite 3-in-1
- Esky 0704A HH Gyro
- Kyosho M24 Blades
- Commonsense RC 2S 800mAh 10C Lipo
- Esky Honey Bee King II Canopy
- Spektrum DX7 Tx
Video #2 - http://youtube.com/watch?v=sv5US_E5Y-0
- Slo-Max 300 Main Motor w/10T Pinion and Heatsink
- GWS Tail Rotor Adapter w/4530 Prop Using Stock Motor Housing
- Super Skids
- Stock E-Sky 4-in-1
- Kyosho M24 Blades
- Commonsense RC 2S 800mAh 10C Lipo
- Stock Tx
Video #3 - http://youtube.com/watch?v=fpRsa00_WkY
Same setup as in Video #2, but with stock tail motor.
If you are just starting out learning to fly helis, I would hold off on the upgrades until you can fly a fully stock HBFP (hovering in all orientations, figure 8s and circuits). You will crash and most of these upgrades will cost you more to crash, as well.

after seeing your vids it reminded me why I wasn't gonna upgrade this thing in the first place, I fly it inside, not much of a reason to upgrade it for that, when I wanna fly outside I'm just gonna get a bigger more powerful heli. But sweet little FP ya got there racin06

i would mostly fly it inside also if i could, but i dont have much room here, big enough living room though to do some hovering. oh and nice HB racin06
edit: oh is it possible to make the HBFP belt driven? casue the belt driven ones looks really sweet.
