Greetings,
I posted a similar message at EZoneMag, and the advice is that the breeze caused the crash. I just would like to get more responses to reach a firm conclusion.
I bought electric Co-Comanche helicopter and had 3 flights. The first one was a nice flight. But the second one and the third one both ended in crash. The first flight and the second took place with a minute. It is not very likely a pilot error. The helicopter seemed to tilt to one side quickly, and then headed to the ground. The third one was a bit revealing. It was a bit breezy. It took off and hovered at about 25 feet for about 30 seconds without any problem, but when I turned it around to face the gentle breeze, it tilted to the right side quickly. I saw the blades from the top rotor hit the blades of the bottom rotor. Then it crashed. I suspect that the linkage of the stabiliser bar on the top became discconected to the top rotor. So the wind tiled the top rotor.
Of course, the breeze could also be the reason.
Any insight and advice as to what to do to avoid this would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.

i have a robins 22 coaxial that i guess is quite similar to ur c comanche. I flew it outside many times and it is common for the blades to crash. If you are going fast, try to use gentle movements to stop because if not, the rotors will crash. You are exceeding its limits. Wind is much worse because it can make ur blades strike each other with no problem at all. It is best to use indoors or when there is nooo wind and even though if you suddenly give it a very strong command imput, blades can crash. Maybe you corrected the heli too roughly

Yes I have a Esky Co-Comanche and also notice this same problem, like tru12 said its a indoor heli. Although I love flying mine out side that why I added a better landing then those bad wheels that break after a couple crashs. If your interested check out my thread http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7190668/tm.htm, also my profile I have some pics of it in my gallery. As for another suggestion on flying outside with it plan on buying an extra motor, battery, & lots of extra sets of blads lots!!! Other then that the with out my Co-Comanche I would barely be able to fly my CP2 the way I do now, goodluck.

how much was it second hand? just wondering since theyre so cheap to begin with. As for your quistion I dont know, but to replace them would be 16 bucks for both motors.
