Default Belt Lubricant and More for HBK2

Hi all, what is a good lubricant for the tail belt on my HBK2? also what should I use for other moving parts. I have lithium grease, 3 in 1 oil and so on. Whats best to use.

tri-flow is a good all round lubricant, it uses teflon instead of the silicon in your 3in1. grease is typically only for bearings (including thrust bearings), oil for all other moving areas.

I use both the "super lubricant" and "high performance synthetic grease". the grease is use specifically on the main shaft and the tail shaft for the bushings.

how do you lube the belt? just spray some on the belt itself or the gears that turns the belt? or do you even need to lube the tail rotor belt? i have a belt cp, not sure of what all needs to be lube, just the bearings and stuff? i read on the tail not to oil anything thats open for it will collect dust and dirt easier, but everything appears to be open lol

well i used gun lube and it's really good. If its liquid, you wanna dip a thin straw with toiletpaper stuck at its end into oil then shove it around the belt inner side. you can do that while th heli has a little bit of rotor speed. If it's spray you just stick the straw into belt area then spray for like 3 seconds while the heli is running pretty slow, you may want like 2 full belt rotation. When you're done, your lube could get some dirts out of the belt. While you spin it, put a sheet of papertowel under the tail.
