thats looks cool, but I'd be a REALLY long time before I'd spend that much money one something like that, but I'll be in this hobby for at least another 40 or 50 years so, I got time

There was a special on the discovery channel or animal planet where they were looking for Anacondas, and they were using a RC heli with a sysyem like that so they could fly over the jungle looking for the snakes while sitting in their camp, It REALLY sucked cause I didn't get to watch the show, my buddy told me all about it cause when they were coming back with the RC heli from where ever they were flying it, it crashes into the jungle never to be seen again And I guess they could still see the image from the cam on the heli till the battery went dead, I've been trying to find the vid on the net but haven't had any luck yet [&o]

that is such a rip off

ok all you need is one of those standard mini cams which over her ein the uk are around £30/$60 and some video goggles which are probably around £50-£100 thats $100-$200

i rekon you could easy home make that for $200

Yep, pretty much. I've already got one of the wireless systems with a receiver and it has video output. Just add a set of video goggles that you can get from the sharper image and you're set to go.

I could see using this to fly a plane but I know I couldn't fly a heli with this. I have to be able to see the rotor to anticipate corrections. At the moment I could not do that with a diminished cockpit view.
