Default missing the gear

A newbie here seeking help on a lama v3, was flying the day before outside in wind so i just kept it low to ground. The next day was raining and i got bored and put on new extreme blades and went to fly it, and it just spun in circles and sounded funny. it was easy to find the problem the bottem blade was turning much slower and the gear was slipping, i thought some how the gears got stripped while sitting on my dresser amazing huh. I took all the bottem stuff off that would let me get a good shot of the gears they were all intact but the little gear was completly missing the big gear on the bottem blade. It almost felt like the main shaft was loose and if I applied a little pressure it would hit the gears what could of happend and how can this be adjusted, remember i am new at this and getting it apart as far as i did was pretty awsome to me. Thanks for any help or suggestions you might have.
