Default HELP WITH RECEIVER CHOICE

I have a HBK2 and would like to know what equipment I need to change so I can use a DX7 transmitter. Will I need to change the servos and receiver only and if so can some recommend make and model. I also have a Aliegn RCE 500x gyro will I have to change that as well.
Any help would be appreciated.

The only thing you need to change is the receiver, you can keep using the same servos and gyro.

I have a 6100e in my king and its a perfect fit and about 2/3 the size of the stock rx. Heck I even got room for extra passengers and backage in the rx compartment
