It has the 3 S285 servos and I have a Hitec HS50 for the tail. Is this a good setup? Should I look into Futaba?

I fly the DX6i and believe it to have plenty of features for how i fly. love it, man....Comes with the AR6200 but no servos.
I know they offer other DX7 combo configurations for those who need beefier servos and what not, but the one you have linked seems to be correct for the King 2...The DX7 is superior to the DX6i in a few areas. More settings, smaller, more ergonomic feel, less plastic-ey feel to it(not toy-ish like DX6i), 1 more channel, doesn't have the all-in-one sucky roller/button....There are other differences comparing them to the DX6i but price of the DX7 is what freaked me out. The DX6i works on the same exact DSM2 as the 7. I believe you get what you pay for with either of these 2 radios. If you are ever going to fly nitro, you need the DX7.
Then there are the Futaba's with the fasst 2.4 system and the grand daddy of the Spektrum, the JR's. Your choice. They will all work with the King...Yes, this list does not even scratch the surface on which radios work with the King. Pretty much all of 'em do. How much you want to spend is the key.
Good Luck

The thing to think of is or are those servos overkill for the king, are NOT what you want or need for the heli.
NOT all servos fit the king and its not all that easy to fabricate mounts for some of them (what I mean is time and effort wise) If they are very small thats one thing but if they are not micro heli size they are going to be a bear to make fit no matter what you .do
You can pick up a new dx7 for under 200$ on ebay from reputable sources and the small 6200 rec is about 50$ without shipping soo those servos included with that radio are about 90$ for 3 of them. Which is a good price for that servo as they are digital and strong servos however you can get a analog servo that is much faster then those and just as strong. If you get that dx7 and you decide that the rec is not what you really wanted or same with the servos you would be out of pocket to replace them with others.
In my own opinion I would op for buying one off ebay and only buy what I know I can use with it and more money I save is more for me to spend on other toys where I have a choice if what I can pick.
