RE: cheapest and best place to buy?
dicharry,
I did a price comparison on my last order for nine commonly needed parts comparing Jag to another vendor I have had good luck with, Helidirect. The total for Jag was $41.50 and the total for Helidirect was $62.07 (without shipping). There were two items that Helidirect were cheaper on, Jag was cheaper on the rest. I just compared a few items from USHobby and found them cheaper on some, higher on others. I have had great service from both Jag and Helidirect. I have never used USHobby, though I will if they have what I want at the right price.
I placed an order with Jag last Thursday, July 3 for a yellow barebones for parts. I then saw the checkered canopy and e-mailed asking if I could swap it for the yellow one. July 4th, received an answer, Yes, we can do that ! ON a HOLIDAY! I then e-mailed again, asking if I could change the base barebones to white to go with the checkered canopy. Received another reply, Yes, we can! Then, I recived the heli and a few extra parts I ordered today!!!
I think the bottom line is that there are a lot of good vendors out there today, doing a very good job. We as consumers just need to shop around, compare prices AND shipping, and sometimes consider an alternative, like ordering a barebones kit. You can see from the prices above, if I had ordered those nine parts, I would have almost paid for a barebones from Jag with their prices, and really close with Helidirect's prices.
HeliStyle,
I hope this helps.

You may want to try Raiden Tec.
Alot of guys will tell you how bad they are.
Though most of them have never ordered a thing from them.
I have ordered three birds and at least a dozen parts orders from them. Never a problem.
I had a belt cp burn up in an ESC fire. They gave me the choice of a new one or a refund.
I sent the old one back and had the money in my account in a week.
Use coupon code "cj10" at check out for 10% off, or "cjfreeshipping" which ever works out to be the most $$$.

After you place the order and go to enter your card info, it will ask you if you have any coupon codes to enter.
You'll see it.
You cant miss it.

Orlbuzz,
I've done lots of business with HeliDirect, and they have provided excellent service, don't hesitate to take returns (within reason, of course), and have parts for Gaui which Jag does not.
Both are excellent vendors among the many out there.

RE: cheapest and best place to buy?
dicharry,
Yes, I agree. I've ordered hundreds of dollars of parts from HeliDirect, never a problem. Jag apparently doesn't have anything but E-Sky, so that's limiting since I have three different helis.
I'm not loyal to any one, lol. I probably buy most frequently from one of my lhs unless I need a lot of parts, to justify the shipping, or in the case of the HBKII, no one in town stocks them!
Ain't competition and the free market great!

RE: cheapest and best place to buy?
Hey Joey!
I agree with Rosebud above, U.S. Hobby Supply is probably the "best" place to buy anything that they sell. The service and support that Michael (their president) provides is awesome! Prices are great, the quality of their cataloge is supurb (no junk here), and I always get my orders the business next day (with Saturday delivery) - even with relatively cheap Priority Mail shipping! He even delivered my last order in person. Can't beat that or the excellent technical support that Michael provides! I'm a customer for life for sure!
You should give them a try if you haven't already! I bet you can get your orders delivered to NJ nearly as fast as I do!
