I agree! U.S. Hobby Suppy and the service that Michael provides are awesome! Like you, I was sort of shocked when my first order from them arrived the next day with cheap Priority Mail shipping - which has also happened with every order since then, except for the one Michael personally delivered and the one I'm going to pick up from him later today! What luck that I'm only 29 miles away!
Michael is going to help me set up my HBK2 after just about everything on it has been or will be upgraded. I had my first flight - er' wreck because of a bad set up that I did myself... With all the upgrades, once it is all back together and adjusted properly it should be like flying a totally different bird! These are:
- Dx6i with AR6200 receiver
- 3900kv motor with HobbyWing 25A ESC
- Xtreme 43T tail drive pulley
- Logitech 2100T HH gyro with LTS-3100G digital tail servo
- 1800mah high-discharge battery (also with a new Align charger)
- "tough as nails" feathering shaft
- super-skids (yet to be put on)
- CNC parts for all rotor and tail components (yet to be put on)
- 10T pinion gear (yet to be put on)
- 1.2GHZ wireless camera (yet to be put on, and I have to learn to fly without destroying the helicopter first)
Everything but the camera from U.S. Hobby Supply (only because they didn't sell it)! All the "yet to be put on" stuff is in the order I'm picking up today.
I originally got my HoneyBee from XHeli after seeing their ad on the Popular Science web site. I wish I'd known about U.S. Hobby Supply at that time, but at least found them for every order (except the camera) since then. Like you, I'm a customer for life! [8D]
There seem to be lots of folks out here with great stories about U.S. Hobby Supply!
Enjoy your new bird! Post some pictures or videos once you get it in the air!
U.S. Hobby Supply rocks! It is always a pleasure to do business with Michael!

One more thing.. I've been donating my old parts and equipment to the Iraq Fund that Michael set up too, in addition to some cash donations.
Here is the link with more info: http://www.ushobbysupply.com/IraqFun...4fa4f3d9b5635b
What a great idea! Thanks again Michael!

Us Hobby is TOP notch. I live on the west coast and get my stuff from them in 3 days.I'm waiting now for the new Xtreme Canpy and boom he has for the Lama V4. You will never have problems with Michael. And He will even tell you when he will not be around or on vacation, never leaves you hanging.

I give USHobbySupply a 10 out of 10 rating and two big thumbs up. [sm=thumbs_up.gif] [sm=thumbs_up.gif]
Bought the Esky Belt-CP. Shipped very fast and so were all my other orders.
Michael helped me out many times as I got stuck on some setup issues and couldn't go any further
even after checking the forums for setup help. He got me flying. Thanks!!!

You don't get much better than Mikes service. I have spent countless hours on the phone with him discussing heli's and my problems with them as well as just shootin the breeze, and he never gets tired of the questions.... well if he does he doesn't let on anyway. I challenge you to find one bad comment of any kind relating to Mike or USHS, and if you do I bet I can blow it out of the water.

I had a great visit with Michael over the weekend, to pick up my latest order and get his expert help in setting up my HBK2 - after all the upgrades! As a newbee, I was rather out of my league trying to make so many upgrades at the same time - but Michael had it flying like a pro in a few minutes - then he put on even more upgrades too and adjusted the Tx so it was easier to fly! Not the same as the stock bird anymore - see pictures below!
I was impressed that he could fit his 20,000 square foot warehouse (o.k. - maybe not quite that big
) into such a small space - with everything so well organized! Truly impressive!
In his "warehouse" I also got a chance to see the Copter-X kit ( http://www.ushobbysupply.com/product...63020130d54fb0 ) that truly looks like work of art in person. Now I know what I want for Christmas! I was surprised at how pre-assembled this "kit" is - with all the rotor parts (that look like the hardest part) already assembled. Looked fantastic! I'm already planning what electronics to add, to be worthy of such a beautiful creation! I suggested to Michael that he add some better pictures of this to his web site, since the ones out there from the manafacturer just don't do it justice! [8D]
After I hovered into Michael's desk (powering off - no damage!) he sent me to "Flight School" with the following link: http://www.dream-models.com/eco/flying-index.html I had never seen this link before, but wish I had earlier. It details an extensive program that I'm just starting on, which promises to be a huge improvement over what I'm doing now (crash and burn!). I can fly my simulator great, but still haven't gotten a good "feel" for the real thing - which this course promises to teach me! Looking forward to it!
Thanks again to Michael for the several hours he spent getting my heli flight ready once again! Awesome support from a virtual store!
Dave
HBK2 pictures (all upgrades on, except the CNC rotor and tail parts shown in the bag. (Great price on all those too)! We decided that I needed to bust up the plastic parts some more first, before putting those on)!
Enjoy!

Do you have a phone number for him? I need to figure out what parts I need.
