Ok so i bought the Esky CNC upgrade off of E-bay. I think... it is the real Esky CNC (Not sure) but in the picture what are the rods? i know one is the feathering shaft but what is the shorter one?? This is not the exact picture of the CNC head i recieved but the picture clearly shows the extra peice. All of my parts came in Esky packages Not Plastic wrap. does that make a difference? did i get screwed?

No luck there? I have seen several other pictures around that don't include this peice. The best thing i can think of is that it is a spare fathering shaft for the plastic head. Which really doesnt make since but they are really close in length.

i agree with you...it's a spindle shaft for some other esky head (belt cp, etc.)...btw, i've done a lot of spindle mods, so my spare spindle supply is a mess (trex, long, short, nuts, bolts, spacers, step washers, o-rings, etc.)...whatever works...ken

You say that your parts came in Esky packages? Like with the cardboard backing? If they were packed like you would see them in a Hobby Shop with the cardboard you probably did get real parts. That is unless the people making the knock-offs have been doing their homework and now go the extra step to package them the same. How much did you pay for them?
Let us know how the head is after you get it all together and flying...If it's just as sloppy as plastic, it's real. If it's sloppier than plastic, it's fake...LOL
