for a used hbk2 with metal head and tail with rate gyro shipped for 180? honestly i would of got a brand new belt cp for 180 bucks. it least you know everything on it is new and in good working order.

but if your hbk2 turns out to be a nice flying heli right of the bat ..then yes its a good deal. they're selling the same thing brand new for 350+

Considering there's around $250 in upgrades (if that's an authentic Esky cnc head and tail) you did well. With the spare parts included you paid less than 50% of retail.

mmm......you never "win" anything on fleabay. All you can do is be willing to pay more than almost anyone else in the free world was willing to pay.

That being said I hope it turns out to be a good deal for you.

lol, that's one way to look at it... on the other hand, some of the ebay stores offer new items at 20-30% off MSRP and retail. For instance, I can get Tamiya parts (for my cars) from HK for 30% less shipped than the retail stores like Tower Hobbies offers.

Looks like a good deal as it has the right upgrades. No idea why anyone would put a digital servo on the tail with a stock gyro though. If you bought it new for 130$ (Yes they do go for that now) figure extra 50+$ for the motor and ESC and 15$ for the 43t upgrade along with 40-90$ for the head (depends on if its Esky or not) along with 20$ for the cnc tail. lots of spares thats a big plus.
