I hit the ground a little to hard and the D shape inside the main gear in my digital esky servo is gone.
So I need new gears or a new servo.
I am thinking of replacing with the same esky or HS-55???
Also, I have seen many people here say bad things about digital but according to Futaba's site Digital is better (other than power consumption). Does anybody have any recommendations for a good digital servo that is a direct replacement size?
Can I mix an analog servo (HS-55) and 2 digital servos (Stock esky) in the collective?

You might want to get Tower Pro sg90. Is way better and cheaper then Esky servo. Ebay have a tons there. Or go Hobbycity look for HXT900, which cost you $3.50 each and is a direct duplicate of sg90.
If you are interested in either of it, I can sell you mine, is brand new. No idea why I bough x10 HXT900 and x4 sg90 which all has been sitting in the box for more then a month

Problem with the esky servos is they make 3 diff servos now. One is the new digital which your stock tx really is not built to work with and will not do a thing for it but run down your battery faster. They also make 2 diff reg servos one is made for the tail and is a little low on power but very very fast like .09 but with only about 12 oz torque and the stronger slower one for the cyclic. Which actually is still pretty quick at about .13 sec and 17 oz of torque bad is the cyclic and the rudder are both packaged the same and NOT marked as tail or cyclic so you buy 1 and its a toss up what is in the package. I bought 3 some time ago and 2 were rudder servos.
Esky hopes and prays you will upgrade to "Upgraded poor quality" from just "Cheap poor quality". Save your money for better toys and go with Tower Pro or HXT 900 both the same servo and quality is pretty good even for the price.
Reminds me I should put up my unused but out of package servos on Ebay and try to recoup my losses...

I ordered a new servo from USHobbysupply last night. When I need to replace anymore I will look into the TowerPro but for now I felt sticking with stock would be fine.
The stock servos have worked fine other than weak gears (in my opinion).
thanks again for the help!

I trust that you made sure the servo you ordered was actually the one that matched what you already had. My newer model HBK2 already came with Esky digital servos on it (cyclic and tail), apparently unlike the older models. Michael was surprised to see that too, so I had to exchange my spare analog servo back for the correct digital one... I didn't know that the Esky digital tail servo (now upgraded to the Logitech LTS-3100G) could be different from the digital cyclic ones - so I'll have to be sure not to use it to replace any of the cyclic servos in the future.
So far the Esky cyclic servos have worked fine...

actually best way to see if it is a rudder servo as its a little hard to see the diff in speed but (this is bad for the servo but..) take the servo with the horn installed on it and slowly rotate it, try another Esky servo then a third, they should all be the same for the cyclic if one seems to turn considerably easier it is a rudder servo. Not very likely you will get 3 rudder servos. Esky has been putting digital servos on all kings ll and Belts for about 5 mo now, however they were not shipping replacement digital servos till about 3 mo ago and then they werent telling anyone that they were digital at first (same part # and UPC code on them). LHS picked up on that when they were testing one a few months ago and happened to be using a tool made by another mfg that could program a digital servo (also the Esky digital is NOT programmable).
