Default Help Please

I have a ESky Lama V3 and I am getting tail spin to the left. I adjusted the proportion trim and it slow down but even when I have it adjusted all the way - I still have left tail spin which makes it HARD for a new comer to learn to fly.
Thanks

Have you adjusted the gain at all? It's kinda tricky getting the gain and proportional set. For me, I adjust the proportional until I have as little rotation as possible, stopping when it seems that continuing is having no effect. At this point I try to adjust gain starting in the middle I + or - depending on what the tail is doing at this point. If drifting, increase. If twitching, decrease. Use small increments on your adjustments and be patient. You will get it locked.

Not sure if I have it fixed or if it was just because the battery was getting low but will find out after the battery is charged. Hope I got if figured out as I should have a lot of time to practice this weekend!

Things are better I guess I just have to keep working at the adjustment and trim! I still have not gotten it where it will hover and stay in one spot. [X(]

that is a hard place to get to. It took me about 3 months to get it just right where i could lay the tx down get a drink and it would be hovering where i left it.

I hope to be spending much time working on it this weekend. Just wish it did not take 1.5 hours to charge the battery. I am going to order one or two extra batteries and some more spare parts. Found a place where you can order a whole Lama V3 with motors but no electrics (no radio or 4 in 1 or TX) for about $35.23.

OK I am getting there and just had the best flight yet. Contrary to what the poor instructions say in order to get the 4 in 1 to take the change it seems I have to disconnect the battery make the change then plug the battery in to get the changes to take affect. I just hope I have enough blades to make it throw the weekend.

regardless of what the instructions say, you always have to unplug and replug in the battery. It's like getting an update to take effect on your computer.

Take it easy with your blades & order a couple of sets of these blades. Sure they're cheap & the shipping from Hong Kong is free, but you have to really crash HARD to damage them: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8797

Also, the Green LiPO is a superb value & the metal upgrades' price can't be beat.

Are these a set of A and B? Just about had my V3 dialed in yesterday after about 8 flights then it started where it would be OK on minuet then the next I had tail spin again. Had to keep adjusting the 4 in 1. Found out the main drive gear for the B propellers was about stripped and was binding. I have one ordered. My biggest problem is the only place I have to fly inside is not real big. But I am getting better.
