i have been rebuilding my belt cp after a crash. It has been sitting around for a while because i have been flying my raptor. I seem to have a problem with my radio gear. After i turn the dx6i on then plug the battery on the heli in, all the servos center but when the gyro initializes everything starts going a lil crazy and the tail servo wotn move neither will the pitch servo. All i have i teh elevator servo moving and the aeileron servo moving, the receivers are both solid until the gyro initializes and then they flash..... anyone have any idea wat the hell is going on? i have tried reseting the settings on the remote and also rebinding.

this is kind of time consumeing here but if you have atleast one servo working can you unplug it and try the other servo`s in that same slot?
im trying to think here.
check the swashtype in the setting`s make sure its on 120 degrees
do you have the binding plug for the reciever?
put binding plug in the battery port/channel in the reciever.its usually port (1)
plug in heli, the reciever and gyro lights will blink rapidly.
then while holding up on the trainer switch on the dx6i turn the radio on,the word bind will blink on the screen of the radio. continue holding the trainner switch while moveing the sticks in all direction`s
after the radio and reciever binds the light on the reciever will go steady
now unplug heli take binding plug out of the reciever and turn off radio
turn radio back on then plug in heli
oh make sure you have the proper aircraft selected in the radio.
you should have the blade 400 and one airplane preprogramed already.
have ypu created a model for your heli?

Just noticed that in your instructions for binding, you said to unplug the heli and then take out the binding plug. You are supposed to pull the plug after the system binds but before you turn off the power to the heli, then turn the radio off last....
Late!

It doesn't matter. Pull the plug after or before you turn it off, just dont power it back up with it in or it will go into binding mode again.

there the same manual`s.ive only rebinded my heli twice in a year.
and have done it the same way each time.
never need to do it anyway. i thought i was haveing a problem, so i thought by rebinding it would fix it.
each time it turned out being a bad servo.

I found that rebinding is a frequent occurence and any time you make a major change to settings that you need to rebind and IF you do not follow the correct sequence the bind will NOT always take effect.
Actually Zim was the one that brought that to my attention about 9 mo ago when I had a suspected gyro setting problem. Turned out that if your making subtrim adjustments on the rudder you should rebind as the radios are not consistent on actually transmitting the changes you made. DX6i radio is querky at times on this and sometimes just disconnecting the rx battery and turning off the tx and turning back on the tx will solve that problem. I have went from a >+12 to a <- 6 with NO change in the subtrim on the heli itself and but once the tx was turned off then back on or rebound it was evident that a change had been made.
Just my personal findings while playing with the radio on a bench seup.
